COLTON FARMS is a feel-good series about a man who is living his dream in Hawaii as a petting zoo farmer. We see him face many challenges: some of them typical day-to-day problems, others that hit from out of the blue, and some that put him in jeopardy of losing that dream forever.
Every adventure is shot with Hawaii as the backdrop and viewers will not only learn about Claude’s menagerie, but also fascinating facts about Hawaii’s culture.
Meet Claude Colton of COLTON FARMS. Claude operates a petting zoo that comprises of over 30 goats, 2 llamas, a dozen pigs and countless number of other critters that he loves with all his heart.
The petting zoo brings in some money but not enough to keep the farm going. To make ends meet, Claude gets creative to raise enough funds to care for his animals and keep his business alive.
Bartering animals for feed and supplies, taking on private gigs, fixing broken horns – there’s never a dull moment with Claude. He once even helped out a neighbor who had a goat who thought it was human!
Not only does he care for his own, he has also built a reputation as the go-to guy for anyone who needs help with the health and well-being of creatures great and small.
Because of Claude’s compassion, many of his animals are rescues that he refuses to be left as lost causes. From herding a flock of wayward geese to a re-homing a 500-pound pig, he’ll take on any challenge. Despite the hard work, Claude always has a smile on his face and sees the positive side to every situation, no matter how difficult.
But it’s not all serious. Claude finds humor everywhere and when he can’t he often makes his own by pranking his co-workers.
You’re invited to follow Claude and his menagerie at COLTON FARMS through some strange situations – all the while teaching humans how to respect and care for our furry friends.
