“The Pet Hui” is a television series that acknowledges the deep affection that locals have for their pets. Hosted by Darah Dung, the show consists of compelling stories about people and their furry family members, information about health care, tips on training, and much more. We aim to help nurture relationships between pet owners and their companions.

Each episode has a heartwarming story, plus a few on-going segments:

In this segment the mission is to reunite Hawaii’s lost pets with their owners.

Hosted by Crimestoppers of Honolulu Sgt. Chris Kim, partnered with the Hawaiian Humane Society.

In this segment we feature one of Hawaii’s puppy shelters with their adoptable pets. Viewers can get an idea of what pets are ready for adoption.

In this segment local veterinarians give advice on healthcare. From the correct way to brush your dog’s teeth, to how to trim your duck’s wings, there is something for every pet owner.

Rick Baker, owner, The Pet Hale

We have been advertising on The Pet Hui for over 10 years. We get a direct response from our commercials on the show and our customers always mention seeing us. A couple of years ago we decided to double our advertising package with Ron Darby because we felt the money was better used on The Pet Hui than other media. Ron has always done an excellent job showcasing our store, and I strongly recommend his services for anyone looking to increase their advertising presence.

Tracy Williams, VP, Wet Okole Hawaii

Ron Darby has produced quite a few great commercials for Wet Okole in California and of course here in Hawaii for many, many years. Being on The Pet Hui is one of the best ways to reach Hawaii’s local audiences and it lets them know we are a local company that originated in the Islands. We feel it’s a great bang for the buck being on The Pet Hui on Spectrum OC16.

Bill Van Der Hur, former owner, Aloha Kia

Aloha Kia has been advertising on The Pet Hui since 2009. WE feel it is a cost effective way to get in front of a unique demographic audience here in Hawaii.

Holly Poomai-Healani, Manager, VCA Animal Hospitals

VCA has been working with Ron Darby on The Pet Hui for over 10 years now. From the segments on us, to the 30-second commercial, it has been an effective and affordable way to get on TV and to support a local business. Plus it’s the only show that is all about pets in Hawaii

Ali Mathews-Bacon, Owner, Got Poo? Waste Removal

We have been running our commercial on The Pet Hui for over 5 years and plan on continuing. Way more affordable than the networks and targets my clientele base.
